Privacy policy and processing of personal data
First of all, thank you for your interest in our contract management, proposal management, compliance and CSR services, and more generally for your interest in the Prime Conseil brand. The main purpose of this page is to inform every visitor to the site how we process the personal data that may be requested when using the www.primeconseil.com website.
Because the applicable laws (hello there, French Data Protection Act) and regulations (hello GDPR) change, as do the CNIL’s recommendations, this page may be updated (in which case we will send you an email if you are subscribed to our newsletter).
This page sets out the principles governing the personal data we may collect while you browse the www.primeconseil.com website. Those principles do not, however, apply to information collected by third parties (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) that direct our clients to the site.
We therefore invite you to read these principles, and to contact us for further information or if you have any question at all about your personal data. If, after our explanations, you are still not reassured by the way we process and use this data, our paths will have no choice but to part (but we will always be ready to welcome you back with open arms if you change your mind).
Across the six (6) sections that follow, we have tried to explain as clearly and plainly as possible how your personal data is collected and handled, as well as your rights and our obligations in this respect.
1. Responsibility for processing
PIM Ventures SAS (“Prime Conseil”) is the controller of the personal data collected in the course of operating the site. Any of our clients may contact the company at any time at the following email address: contact@primeconseil.com.
2. Type of data collected
The type of personal data we collect will of course vary depending on the interactions we have with you.
Depending on how you interact with Prime Conseil, through our contact form, by message on social media (Instagram, Facebook) or directly by email or telephone (to encourage us or to tell us of your interest in our contract management consultancy offering): we may:
- store a copy of the exchanges we have had, in order to tailor your experience as far as possible,
- collect your IP address, browser type, surname, first name and contact details so that we can contact you for promotional, commercial or technical purposes,
- or use cookies (see our cookie policy below) and trackers to analyse traffic to our site.
3. Use of your data
We already cover this in section 2 above (we will spare you a repeat), but please keep the following two messages in mind:
- We may pass certain data to our suppliers and partners (for example in connection with the third-party plugins and tools we use), but we do not sell your personal data to third parties;
- We collect only the minimum necessary in order to:
- Give you smooth and secure browsing on the site;
- Keep you informed (if you so wish) of our news and developments regarding our consultancy services in contract management, proposal management and tender responses;
- Analyse traffic to the site and better understand which features you like;
- Respond to any request from a competent authority;
- More generally, answer all your questions and requests, above all those concerning our site, Prime Conseil or contract management in general!
Finally, since the applicable laws, regulations and recommendations require us to state the basis for this collection, the bases are as follows:
- Audience and traffic analysis;
- Consent;
- Prime Conseil’s legitimate interest, namely: promoting, marketing and developing its offering as a contract management consultant, tender consultant, public procurement consultant and compliance consultant;
- Legal obligation.
4. Retention and processing of your data
Internally, only Prime Conseil’s management team and the consultants handling your files will have access to your data, and solely for the purposes set out above.
As our contract management, proposal management, tender, compliance and CSR consultancy business involves many suppliers and partners, your data may also be passed on to them, again solely for the purposes set out above. Those third parties may include:
- MailChimp, MailJet, Typeform, Survey Monkey and other customer relationship management and prospecting platforms;
- Google Analytics;
- Etc.
Even though Prime Conseil is not (yet) in a position to impose terms on the large multinationals of the web, we do our utmost to configure third-party tools in line with the GDPR, so that most of these third parties are bound by confidentiality undertakings and, in any event, so that your data is used only for the purposes set out above.
As regards retention periods, we regularly review the CNIL’s recommendations in order to keep abreast of the required periods and to comply with them. To date, we apply the following retention periods:
- As a general rule, one (1) year of data retention from your last interaction with Prime Conseil (login, newsletter sign-up, contact, etc.);
- Ten (10) years of retention for data relating to orders and invoices, to meet our tax and social security obligations.
5. Protection of your data
The data we collect is held on a secure server protected by a firewall and antivirus software. In addition, we do our utmost to put in place technical and organisational measures (proportionate to our size) designed to ensure the security and confidentiality of your data against accidental loss and against any unauthorised access, use, alteration or disclosure.
It is nevertheless important to bear in mind that the internet remains exposed to attacks and fraud of all kinds, which makes it impossible to guarantee the security of information and data.
Every user of the site therefore accepts that data is transmitted at their own risk, and that Prime Conseil cannot be held liable for fraud, attacks, or any failure to comply with the privacy settings or security measures in place on the site.
We therefore urge you to be highly vigilant and, more generally, to follow the CNIL’s (very good) practical advice in order to browse in complete (or almost complete) safety!
6. Your rights
Before setting out the rights conferred by the applicable laws and regulations, we would like to highlight your right to call us, to contact us by email, via social media or otherwise, in order to share your questions, doubts and concerns regarding personal data. We will do everything we can to give you an answer as quickly as possible.
Turning to the applicable laws and regulations, in accordance with Articles 15 to 21 of the GDPR and Articles 38 to 40 of the French Data Protection Act, as a person concerned by data processing (within the meaning of those texts) you have a right of access, rectification, erasure and restriction in respect of your data processed by Prime Conseil. In addition, every client has a right to object to their data continuing to be processed, as well as a right to object to the processing of their data, exercisable at any time and free of charge. As regards the consent given to the processing of your data, it may be withdrawn at any time. Finally, every person has a right to portability in respect of the data collected and processed by Prime Conseil.
Exercising the above rights is free of charge (unless the request is manifestly unfounded or excessive) and simple: simply send an email explaining the purpose of your request to the following address: contact@primeconseil.com.
