At Prime Conseil, we are not big fans of the word “consultancy”. We do not always recognise ourselves in the word “consultant” either, which can sometimes (wrongly) conjure up an image of a passive adviser who simply observes and comments.
Prime Conseil is, first and foremost, a collective of women and men who share a passion for contracts, a taste for challenge and a hands-on, operational approach to the contract, which we see as a means rather than an end.
Prime Conseil is also a shared vision of what contract management should be: a discipline that strives for excellence, that knows how to get to the heart of projects, and that is meant to be specialist rather than generalist.
While contract management is gradually finding its place in public and private organisations alike, our mission is to keep the discipline shining, to help it stand as a real area of expertise, to make it a genuine value creation driver, and to ensure that the contract becomes one of the essential cogs in how an organisation runs, rather than a necessary evil or an administrative chore.
Enfin, Prime Conseil is also a conviction and a mission: to make sure that contract management consulting does not become mere body shopping but stays a high value-added activity, recognised by the market for its contribution to project profitability, to winning contracts and to the bottom line of organisations.

Pierre Marchès
With a dual background in business law and corporate finance, completed by an Executive MBA at ESCP Business School, Pierre has now been practising contract management for 15 years, in large groups and mid-sized companies, as well as with French and foreign public authorities and ministries. Founder of Prime Conseil in 2020, Pierre specialises in energy and infrastructure, and in defence.
Alongside his consultancy work, Pierre has founded two tech startups, one to digitise tendering and the other to automate certain contract management tasks, cultivating a forward-looking and innovative view of contract management inside organisations.
This holistic view of contract management, which treats the discipline as part of a virtuous ecosystem serving value creation, makes Pierre a consultant much appreciated by large public and private accounts, who see contract management as a means rather than an end.

Henri Zouingnan
A former in-house legal manager, Henri has spent more than 10 years with major industrial players, in France and internationally. His experience in food and beverage, pharmaceuticals and energy on contract and claim management matters has given him the ability to get the most out of complex contracts in demanding environments.
An active voice in promoting and developing contract management in France, Henri joined Prime Conseil in 2021 and looks after consultant staffing as well as a portfolio of clients, bringing advice, pragmatism and operational solutions to the contractual challenges they face. Henri also stands out for his strong people skills, his open-mindedness and his quick grasp of cross-functional stakes, which make him a remarkable negotiator.
